After losing the use of my remote release, for which I originally paid about $20 at Adorama, I went down the street to what seemed to be the only camera store that wasn't limited to disposables. Know how much I paid to replace the damn thing? I paid $96 to replace a $20 part. All it seems to do in the first place is close a circuit.
So to justify spending so much money to replace that part, I went to the pool area at our hotel (the Venetian) and started using it.
Damn touristy locations.
The Venetian is a really cool hotel. I visited the men's room while everyone was checking in, even the urinals were fancy. Navigating it was a mess, I think it was three different elevators (none right next to each other) to get from our rooms to the lobby. But not just one lobby, there were a couple. I think the hotel has been expanded several times, which explains the crazy navigation.
Lovely photo. I like the vibrant colors. I think it was worth replacing the part for your Nike. Nikon camaras are the best. I wouldn't know what I would do without my Nikon D80.
